Privacy
PlayWe do not collect personal data. Playing is free, and every game works without the leaderboard.
In simple words
- A made up nameYou pick a name from our list, like Brave Peacock 27. You never type your real name.
- An animal pictureYou pick one of our drawn animal faces. No photos.
- Your game scoresWins, points and badges from games against the computer, so you can see them on the leaderboard.
- A random code on this deviceA random code in a cookie remembers you on this phone or tablet. It is not your name and it is not shared.
- We never ask forYour email, your real name, photos, where you live, your school or your phone number.
- No ads, no trackingThere are no ads and nothing follows you to other websites.
Leaving
On the leaderboard, tap Leave the leaderboard. That deletes your name, your animal and all your scores and badges straight away. You can still play every game, and join again any time.
The leaderboard is optional. Nothing is sent to us until you choose to join it.
For grown ups
Indian Games is made for children. We ask grown ups to help younger children join the leaderboard and to keep the secret words safe.
- Joining creates a random player id on our server with the chosen name parts (adjective, animal, a number from 00 to 99) and the avatar choice. Names come only from fixed, reviewed word lists, so no child can type a name, a message or anything personal.
- We store the results of games played against the computer (game, level, win or draw or loss, number of moves, game length, points and the date in India time) and the badges earned.
- A cookie on this device holds a signed random id for up to one year. It is HttpOnly, so page scripts cannot read it. The browser also keeps a "joined" flag and the chosen name for showing when offline.
- To stop cheating and abuse we count requests per network address, but we never store the address itself: only a keyed, one way code of it, deleted within a day.
- The optional 6 secret words let a child move their scores to another device. We do not store the words, only a one way code of them. Anyone with the words can use that player, so please keep them private.
- We do not sell or share data, show ads, or use analytics or tracking. Data is stored with our hosting provider, Cloudflare.
- "Leave the leaderboard" deletes the player and every score and badge at once. If you cannot reach the device, write to us and we will help.
